Introduction

Linh Vu has a technical background and a broker in his free time. So he gets more knowledge about the real estate market. In this market, he sees a problem is they don’t have a platform that helps broker, buyer, and seller connect together in Vietnam. He wants to build a real estate app bases on three values: Accessible, Trustworthy, Effective.

To do it, he comes with us to build the app that helps everyone buy, rent, sell a home in Vietnam more easily and more effectively, saving time and money. It’s called Amio App.

Research

At Dwarves Design, we see that the real estate market is a big challenge with our limited knowledge. We had many team meetings with our client to understand the client’s requirement, but most importantly, we studied the trade market and how it works and optimized customer journey. That gave us a detailed overview of the project to define user, problem and find out the best solution.

2. Problems

  • Not many channels for users to know the information in the real estate market in Vietnam
  • Most of the property is introduced by brokers, that takes buyers or renters too much time. Someone wants to buy or rent a house and it also takes long time to sell a house.
  • Not have an exculsive app for agent to update news about trend in the market
  • Buyers/renters might be scammed because of fake information

4. Define User

In research about the market, we found out three main users who usually use our app:

Buyer:

Finding a large house in centre, which is affordable, close to work, safe for children and has nice neighborhood.

Buyer:

Selling/leasing apartment in the centre which is luxury, has pool, spa, mall.

Buyer:

Finding a real estate transaction which has many users, projects and update news about real estate.

Based on the above income the problem and defined user, we conducted user interviews to understand their needs and pain points.

To provide an easy but effective solution for each user who will join the real estate, we voted for the crucial features to be presented:

3. Main and Navigation

We displayed the main features on the bottom navigation bar include: Explore, Dashboard, Bookmarks and More. Search bar, filter and sort were displayed on the top app bar when you chose Explore section of navigation because these features are the user’s main necessary when they find properties for sale, rent.

4. User Interface

After sketching wireframes, we created a brand identity, color palette and defined the interaction design.
